After spending many years sailing and camping on a boat in Texas and on Lake Travis, I knew one thing for sure. I wanted the option to have the AC on at night. When you sleep on the trampoline or on deck it is fine, but being down below is just uncomfortable without the ability to cool the boat, for most of the year, in Texas.
It turns out making swatch selections is hard, like really hard.
But, I know my talents and they don’t include design. So, I provided support and feedback and let my wife Valerie make the choices.
For the past few years, I have been sailing on a friend’s boat named Siyagruva. The owner of Siyagruva had a membership program that allowed a small group of friends to use the boat, kind of like a timeshare. The boat was always available, and clean. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.
